Our History

The Olathe Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund supports local charities serving Olathe children, bringing help and hope to those in need. The Fund’s Board is comprised of community leaders and friends dedicated to helping Olathe children and families.

Our current beneficiaries are the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City; Catholic Charities; Center of Grace – Children’s Shoe Fund; Center of Grace – Clothing Closet; El Centro; Friends of the Olathe Public Library; Health Partnership Clinic; Inclusion Connections; Johnson County Christmas Bureau; KVC Kansas; Mission Southside; Olathe Family YMCA; Olathe Public Schools Foundation; Preferred Family Healthcare; SAFEHOME; and the Salvation Army.

Our Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund charities meet the most critical needs of children and families, including food, health and dental care, clothing, shoes, and school supplies. Your tax-deductible donation will help us touch the lives of countless children, giving them hope for a brighter tomorrow.

It’s important to know that thanks to our generous corporate partners, we have no overhead expenses. That means 100 percent of Fund donations go to charities right here in our community! With your help, we will continue touching more lives than ever before.
